Mi Animal Favorito

Our Kindergarten students just finished reading Eric Carle's "De la cabeza a los pies" (From head to toe). Because they can easily recognize the story and the images in these books from their classroom and library time,  the students will learn the names of different animals and body parts at a quicker pace.

Our older students taking Spanish are about to conclude a unit on Geography of the Americas. We have gone over the countries in North and South America as well as the main languages spoken in each of these countries. The 2nd and 4th grade classes can already name the vast majority of the countries in the entire American continent.
