Skyping with a class in Chile!

¡Buenos días a todos! In the 2nd and 4th grades, we have introduced paper money from different countries in South America. Students can earn these billetes by how well they do on their evaluations in class as well as by how well they set an example for the other students in class. They can then exchange these billetes for different in class rewards such as being the class storyteller during Latin American story time, they can be the Comandante and give commands in Spanish to the rest of the class such as corran, salten, agachense, sientense, levantense, etc. The kindergarten Spanish class has just finished reading Oso Pardo, Oso Pardo, ¿que ves ahí?, another Eric Carle classic “Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?”

In this video, we can see Ms. Corkern’s and Ms. Long’s class skyping with a 2nd grade class from Escuela Nido de Aguilas in Santiago, Chile.
